The new machine is already here with me and it’s official. My travelmate responsibilities will be handover to this Aspire 4736 starting from today onwards.

Hello World!

Acer Aspire 4736

Yeah. I’m so thankful for this.

.. and I like it. ;)

Goodbye

The “Notebook Surgeon” did not manage to save my Travelmate. Something wrong with the motherboard but it’s too obsolete for a replacement. Better not.

Ah, I knew that earlier before i went to Low Yat that day to pick up the notebook. It was correctly predicted by Bendawos as well.

R.I.P

So long.. Goodbye my 5 Year old machine. You’ve served me well for years! You are the best so far.

TravelMate 290

Now, I need to get a new machine for myself. Yes, I’ll get one from the same family, the Acer Family. The memories still remain, for sure.

Rest in Peace, Michael Jackson

My PC was on the whole night (as usual) and when I woke up this morning at about 6.20am to switch it off, i saw one of my friend’s Facebook status on the screen.. “…hhhmmm, Michael Jackson dies of possible cardiac arrest…“.

Aik?

I google for the news.. YES. I’m not dreaming. He’s dead. R.I.P . A shocking news early in the morning. Sigh.

Not to say I’m a Big Fan of MJ, but I used to listen to his songs  since i was a lil’ kid.  Still remember “Beat It” & “Billie Jean” and also his moonwalk. A trademark.

Legend.

And this is one of my favourite song, Heal The World

“.. Heal The World Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough For The Living
Make A Better Place For You And For Me..”

Rest in Peace, MJ.

My TravelMate..

.. is dead. Erm, I suspect something to do with the internal hardware coz it hangs during bios startup. I was not be able to figure out the problem, so i went to Low Yat Plaza yesterday afternoon to look for someone who can help me with this. Then later I met Mr Raj, a “Notebook Surgeon” from Pakistan. After telling him the problem, he took my laptop for checking..

Mr Raj in ActionSo “fast & furious”.

And within 1 minute, my TravelMate became like this..

The TravelMateThis is not rubbish, okay!

Raj then started to test the motherboard with his gadgets (bios, transistor, capasitor, LED.. huh.. you just name it).  I saw everything in LIVE! Then he started to solder, to suck, to remove, to replace the i-dont-know-what.

Man at WorkReplacing the “chip”.

I waited for about 1.5 hours to see miracles but nothing happen to this 5 years old laptop. I said to him, I need to go so I left the laptop (except for my hardisk). I said i’ll be coming today (sunday) to pick it up – in any condition. Sigh.

Just carry on, Raj. Do whatever you can. I have no problem with it. I’ll be coming this evening.

Update 1 (23 June 2009 ) : I haven’t pick up the laptop yet. :D

Part 3 : Trip to Sabah

I even went to Tanjung Aru to watch the sunset while I was in KK. This time, i fully ultilized the DSLR to do some photography exercise. Most of the time the DSLR auto mode doesn’t produce good shots, so I started playing around with the manual setting which is quite interesting, really.

Tanjung Aru Beach Project.

The View

Gold

While i was busy taking photos around, I saw a group of skaters doing freetyle & flip. Reminds me of my teenage years with a friend mine, Nyawai. I used to follow him and few other friends go skating somewhere in my housing area in Kuching. The only trick I know that time was, Ollie.

It’s time for me to enjoy, while taking photos.

Not that way.

Skate

With a scenery like this.. I smell F.R.E.E.D.O.M. everywhere. Peace.

Part 2 : Trip to Sabah

June 16th, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Life Log

After 2 days in Sandakan, we straight away went to Keningau – ila’s Kampung Tohan Baru.

On the way

The journey took about 2.5 hours drive, from Kota Kinabalu International Airport to the kampung. The taxi fare cost RM30 per head, and there were 3 of us.

Kampung Tohan Baru

Oh yeah, I spent my 3 days in Keningau doing almost everything the kampung people does everyday, especially the youngsters. Watched them climbing coconut trees and do the plucking .. like this..

Pluck the coconut

… and Apon also did his job. What else? The coconut juice, of course. :D

Apon in action

Pre-Caution: The coconut might fall on the head. May cause drowsiness.

In the evening before the Sepak Takraw session, I joined the veterans in the ‘coffee house’. Ya, you’re absolutely right. Politics! :)

The veterans

Again, i must say it was an enjoyable  stay in Keningau. A wonderful family i have here makes me feel like home. Miss them so much. Till we meet again.

Eh! Not to forget the chick..

The chick

Yes, the real chick.  Looking for the mum.

Teacher: Simon, your composition on ‘My Dog’ is exactly the same as your brother’s. Did you copy his?

Simon: No la, teacher.  It’s the same dog!

:)

Have a good sleep and Don’t sleep late, Andy.

I read about this somewhere and I think this can be my personal reminder..  Hoho.. :D

Evening at 9 – 11pm:
is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.

Evening at 11pm – 1am:
is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 1 – 3am:
detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.

sleep

Roland’s good sleep a.k.a  “Mind’s Mapping”

Early morning 3 – 5am:
detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

Morning 5 – 7am:
detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.

Morning 7 – 9am:
absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 – 10am rather than no meal at all.

Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don’t sleep late.

I guess I should change my lifestyle from now on. :/ At least not to sleep as early as 3am.

Part 1 : Trip to Sabah

I went to Sabah early this month to attend a good buddy’s wedding in Sandakan. Actually, I was appointed by them – Maxwell & the wife as the photographer during the church & dinner reception. Oh, my first time. The wedding was held in St Micheal Church, a historical building – one of the oldest in Sandakan. The structure? Awesome! I really like the “feel”.

Enjoy some of the photos here.

AndySaedah.Com is Back!

May 11th, 2009 | 1 Comment | Posted in Life Log

Yeah.

My blog was back online on 22 April 2009 after my previous server hosting failure. The last backup I made was in January 2009. Although i still can copy & paste my previous entries after my last backup using google cache but due to my laziness limited time, i failed to do so. Now the google spider already crawled to my site on the 4th May 2009. No more cache pages for me to copy & paste for February, March and April posts! (Moral of the story : Perform backup regularly.)

Ah, no big deal, lah!

Hey, another good news.  Bendawos.Com is back again.  Version 2.0, New and Fresh. This time more serious, since he’s no longer running out of time.. :D

Oh, since this good friend of mine already “started” his 2.0 version, i can feel the aura of reading blogging again!

Bye Bye 2008
