VOX amPlug for Bass
I am now in the midst of looking for a reliable amplifier for my baby RBX . I fact i just need a small and portable one. Not too expensive, of coz. Hmmm yea, i’m not going to bring that amp for a concert or what.. just for practise on my own .. err maybe while watching youtube?
Currently there are few amps in my list : Ibanez, Behringer and Vox, where the price is in the range of RM350 – RM500 (15 – 20watt) brand new, according to what i saw in Lelong.Com.My . HAHAHA.

But today, a friend of mine posted something similar on his Facebook album but more handy than i ever thought. Yea yea, it a VOX amPlug for BASS!
Uwaaah! This type of amp also got? I’m quite interested with the product features :
• Plugs directly into your guitar/ bass —a great-sounding headphone guitar amp that gives you serious sound fast.
• AUX in jack lets you jam along with your CD/MP3 player.
• 100% analog circuit faithfully simulates the response of the original amps.
• ‘Bass’ features a full-range bass sound with a compressor/boost effect.
• Up to 15 hours of battery life with two Alkaline AAA batteries.
• Quick and easy setup! Just connect amPlug to your guitar and enjoy serious sound.
This is more than a simple set up and yet it’s portable, right?! It fits your gig bag lah wei.
The price? RM153. (source : http://www.ckmusic.com.my/webshaper/store/viewProd.asp?pkProductItem=75 ) .
I think i’m gonna buy this amPlug this month and I’ll get a bigger amp right after i get my paycheck for previous web project. Ah, see how it goes.
Oh! This amPlug also available for lead guitar, accoustic guitar, etc and not only for bass. Cool eh?

5 Days and Still Counting
It’s been 5 days away from Facebook. There were few friends of mine keep on asking when we met online and offline : “What happen to your FB account?”, ”I can’t find you in my friends list!”, “Did you remove me from your list? Why Why Why?” …………etc
Until today i got this SMS.

Yes. I’ve deactivated my FB account. Temporarily.
Reason?
I spent a lot of time facing FB’s news feed everyday. No matter how busy i am, I still have time to comment others’ statuses, click and tag friends’ photos, watch videos posted on my wall and so on. Facebook is so CANGGIH mah.. Hahahah! Gosh. This time, I really need some space.
Since currently (read : now) I’m running out of time completing few freelance job after working hours especially at night, i guess by deactivating my FB can save a lot of my time even during my day job in the office.
Focus a bit.
That’s it. No hidden agenda, okay. I’ll be back. (macam la famous, ceh!)
However, you can follow me on twitter. I do tweet randomly

My Talentime
Last few days, I bought this Talentime ORIGINAL DVD from Speedy. I didn’t have the chance to watch it in the cinema last time eventhough I’m a big fan of Yasmin Ahmad’s films & ads (since Sepet). As a reward to myself and to show my support to Yasmin, I bought this DVD.

Oh, I was a bit disappointed.
Heh.
There are part in the movie where they speak Tamil, No Subtitle. There are also part where Mahesh does the sign-language (hearing impaired boy), also No Subtitle. How am I going to know what’s happening? Aiyak! C’mon. Don’t tell me that I need to learn Tamil or to master the sign-language before I watch this movie on DVD.
Overall, this movie is beautiful and I like Melur. She’s pretty.
By the way, I love this song “I Go” originally sang by Aizat. Very cun. Fuh.
Enjoy.

9 Major Events in 2009
Yeah. 2009 has been a wonderful year for me. Let’s see what’s the “9 Major Events” I’ve been through last year.
1. In January 2009, I started play around with my D60 which I bought on 31st December 2008. It’s something I’ve been dreaming of since 2007.

2. I Went to Sabah (Sandakan, KK & Keningau) for a friend’s wedding, in May 2009. I was his official photographer. Heh. You can consider this as my first personal project with my DSLR.

3. Somewhere in Jun 2009, my mum and I together with my auntie and cousins went to Langkawi for a “mini holiday”. The trip was fun and tiring, I must say. It’s worth-it anyway..

4. My precious TravelMate died.

5. My new Aspire shouted.. “HELLO WORLD!” in July 2009.

6. I was officially converted from a Web Content Developer into a System Admin in my company. I cannot use the word “promoted” because it’s not. I love this new responsibility, anyway. This happened also somewhere in July 2009.

7. On the 8th August 2009, I had a major eye operation for retinal detachment. I was shocked! Serious stuff, dude. No joke.

8. My eyes being injected with gas every month due to my weak retina. It’s pain, okay! Headache. Furthermore, I need to go for medical follow-up for at least 3 times a month, till now. I’m broke.

9. I was not allowed to travel by flight last December for that might increase pressure to my right eye. Bye-bye to my RM369 worth of Air Asia ticket I bought earlier. I was in Shah Alam for last year’s Christmas and it was FUN! Thank God.

That’s all I guess for major ones. So here it goes 2010. I’m so thankful for every breath I take. I believe this new year going to be something awesome in my personal life, my career and my ministry. I just want to believe. My life is in His hands.
Happy New Year All!

Everyday is a brand new day
It’s already 29th December 2009. Few more days to go before new year and I’ll be at home this whole week. I’ll be back to work on the 5th Jan! Woooot. Gud life.
Actually there are few task to be done during my holiday, mostly something to do with freelance work. So at least I have the purpose staying at home besides sleeping, surfing and playing xbox. I’ve been thinking to work on my own one day, ermm maybe I’m still waiting for the right time and God’s will. I’m sure He’ll provide everything before i travel to the moon. I just want to believe.
This morning, when I clean up my room i saw 2 books I bought early this year in Kuching. Owh, i don’t have the time reading them so i think i will start reading them soon. Yes. These going to be my personal intro for year 2010!

God bless all! Have fun coz everyday is a brand new day.

Merry Christmas!
Yeah! It’s Christmas Day!
This year, i’m not be able to celebrate this Blessed Christmas in Kuching due to my eye condition. The doctor in THONEH doesn’t allow me to travel by plane for that might increase the pressure to my eye. So, here I am in Shah Alam with my second family in Grace! Thank God I have them with me. Will be going to the Christmas Service in a bit.
Nothing much for now. Oh ya, I managed to get myself 2 pair of shoes (self-present) yesterday. Oh i can say, they are for my Christmas this year! Heheh. I like!

Chikanoz bah!
I don’t believe in Santa Claus.. So, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Everyone!

PC Fair & Stuff
Again, not much updates in this blog except for my auto tweet posts.
I’m still in the midsts of balancing my daily routine. Heh, it’s been complicated from time to time. Let’s talk about that later (or never).
Oh yeah. I was in PC Fair KLCC last night (last minute) and actually just for window shopping. Macam biasalah the battle of Broadbands, Notebooks & Netbooks here and there in PIKOM. I’m not into all these for I already got myself a TM Streamyx at home early this year and also a new partner last June.
However, i bought this stuff during this “window shopping”.

1. Cooling Pad
2. Keyboard Protector
3. SonicGear Headphone
Total damage : RM50
Peace.

Recommended SQL Query Tool – Query Express
I came across this standalone freeware. Very useful for those who are using home version of Operating System (Vista Home, XP Home) and also for those who want something light besides using the SQL Analyzer. I’ve been using it at my workplace for quite sometime and it does not require any installation.
And yes, the Query Express is a small (100KB executable), free, simple SQL Query Analyzer look alike. It can be run where the SQL Server client tools are not installed or licensed. It works for Oracle and other OLE-DB compliant databases too.

Just put it on your desktop and click!

Login to the database server

The interface. Quite similar with SQL Query Analyzer.
Let’s compare with this.

The SQL Query Analyzer
Almost the same! You should give it a try. It’s an alternative tool.
