Portable Softwares in My USB Drives

Sometimes, I need to have applications (FTP and email clients) which I can bring everywhere in my 1gb USB drive and plug in every pc i use (especially when my precious notebook is not with me that time). In case of emergency, it is quite troublesome to download these applications and install them in every machine i want to use. Plus, i do not have any permission to install softwares/freewares inside my office’s pc, heh.. the saddest thing.

Now i don’t have to worry about FTP client and that few applications anymore for I’ve found portable apps site :

Portable Applications Suite

Here, you can download few freewares (which i believe more to be added soon). Currently, i’m using the portable version of Mozilla Thunderbird, Firefox, Gaim and Filezilla. These are the applications i use most of the time. All you need to do: download, install in your USB drive and run. That’s it.

Now you can carry your favorite computer programs along with all of your bookmarks, settings, email and more with you. Use them on any Windows computer. All without leaving any personal data behind.

Yeah.

Note : Actually I also need a portable notepad++ . I hope it will be available soon:)
